ALPINE A610/LM Bi-turbo

1994年。　ルマン24時間レースに出た最後のALPINE.

悪戦苦闘しながらも完走しました！！　24時間で272周して13位　GT-2クラスでは911careraや348等に続く
（ほぼ　プライベーターなのでこの成績は立派です。）

ちなみに優勝はダウアー962C で344周(4678.4km)走って平均時速195km/h!!　なのでA610LMは平均154km/hつうことですね。

＊途中で随分停まったらしいし・・・


練馬某所で密かに隠居中。
（実は全然、密かじゃなくて、関越高速乗る人は殆ど見かけている筈の場所ですが・・・）

山本さん　ワイズは練馬駅近くにありますね。
（なんかアルファが置いてあったような）車高はあまり低くない感じですが400hpのモンスターですよね。

mineさん　そうです。94年に出場してます。この年はGT2クラスではロータスエスプリなんかも出てますね。（全車リタイア）
そして、GT1ではなんとブガッティEB110も出ていたようです（リタイア）

テレ朝のぶち切れ実況放送を穴があくほど見ていましたがA610は
一瞬映ったかどうかレベルだった思い出があります。

この場所は、以前から気になってはいましたが
車を停める処が無いのが難点ですね。

このA610LMは1994年のルマン出場後、SIFOの社長が日本に持ってきてGT選手権で戦わせようとした一台です。その後練馬のYsというお店に渡りながらく谷原の交差点にある無人のショールームに置かれていました（これはその時に撮影したもの）　でも現在はその所在がはっきりしません。このA610LMを作ったFranceのレガシーレーシングは、この個体のあとに発展型を作っており、欧州のBPRなどレースに出ていたようです。ツインターボで400HP以上の出力ですが、当時熟成が進んでいたライバル達（特に同じエンジンベースのヴェンチュリとか）
には敵わなかったようですね。

Thank you for your comment on my blog.

I was surprised to hear that your uncle was involved in the A610LM.
I was watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans race he participated in very hard, as it was being broadcast live on TV in faraway Japan (I saw the A610LM for a moment!).
(The A610LM was shown for a moment!).

Unfortunately, the mystery of whether this A610LM is still in Japan or not has not been solved!
It has not appeared at any Alpine-related events in Japan.
The A610LM was first brought to Japan by SIFO, so you may want to contact SIFO for more information.

After importing the car, it was supposed to participate in GT races in Japan.
After that, the ownership of the car was transferred to Ys', a French car specialty store located in Nerima, Tokyo.
At that time, the car was displayed in the warehouse of Ys', which is the photo in this blog.

Ys' is probably out of business now, and the location where this warehouse was located is in a different building.
